Setting Up Camp

The site was small and narrow, so I had to make sure that I positioned the coach just right to be able to let out the slides. Electric was good and the water was adequate. Didn’t have sewer, and I didn’t see a dump station, but I didn’t need it either. The park itself is nice and clean, but expect a large crowd for the pool during the day. May go back again in the future, when we can spend more time here. We were just there for one night on our trip back home from California. The spring feed, crystal clear 25 foot deep swimming pool and its’ diving boards make for a wonderful outing.

Yet folks that are new to RVing ask me all the time what I think they will need for their rig. Well, my wife, my RVing friends and I have given this subject a lot of thought for several months now and we came up with a list of things that you really need to have as well as another list of things that would just be really nice to have. They ran the gas line outside and left it with a shut-off valve so that I could connect it to my grill. Step 1 — Remove Grill Regulator The first step is to remove the old regulator and supply line on your propane grill.

The hose running from the propane tank on my grill has a regulator attached to it and then it connects to the bottom of the grill as you can see in this photo.
